Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC) provides students with resources, crisis intervention and referral to internal and community organizations for resources, support, and counseling. On-going mental health counseling services are not available through PPCC, but referrals are provided for students with and without insurance.
If you are in need of assistance call our counselors at 502-4782. They will speak with you by phone or schedule an appointment to help you define available options for problem resolution and provide referrals to community agencies for services not available on campus.
If it is after hours and you are experiencing a mental health emergency, especially if you are suicidal or are concerned about harm to you or another person, you need to contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273- TALK (8255), the community mental health crisis line at (719) 635-7000, or dial 911.
Faculty and Staff in need may contact Human Resources at 502-2600 or the Colorado State Employee Assistance Plan at 1-800-821-8154.
