Press Pause focuses on simple mindfulness techniques to help manage common stresses and emotional challenges. The new videos will be broadcast on over 700 college campuses and available for any school or organization to use free of charge via our new Half of Us hub for campuses.
A full-time Licensed Professional Counselor provides services in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment at no cost to the student. Numerous books and pamphlets are offered, as well as local community resources available through referral by the counselor. The Lyon College Counseling Center is located on the first floor of Edwards Commons.

You may also come by the office and schedule an appointment with the Administrative Assistant, Jennifer Hidy Pitts. Appointments usually last approximately 50 minutes but shorter times may be scheduled. Appointments are scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday. If you must cancel an appointment, please notify Diane Ellis or the Administrative Assistant in advance in order to open up your space for others.
